We tend to hold on to the past as if it was a life vest. Unfortunately, we need to face the fact that the relationship has come to an end for a number of reasons. Even though there is one main cause leading  you to the final ending, in reality there were many other small reasons why it collapsed. It&#8217;s never just one! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter whose fault it was, nor does it matter who did the most damage. It&#8217;s DONE and now is time to grow, be strong, and BLOCK THEM! (Obviously if there are no kids involved, or other important life assets in the picture.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have kids or other important business with that ex, you have to set boundaries. Maintaining a tight schedule and setting rules regarding when is appropriate to talk, is the first step. (During business hours perhaps, between 8:00am and 9:00pm.) Focus specifically on what matters the most, and keep it professional. Family is very important and keeping a good communication with your ex for the sake of your kids should be your number one priority.
